Situated on the campsite adjacent to the Blackwater Hostel, the Glamping Pods are ideally positioned with many pods overlooking the River Leven. Located in the small West Highland village of Kinlochleven, the site is only 200m walk from the shops, pubs and restaurants. The village lies on the West Coast of Scotland in the heart of Lochaber only 7 miles from Glencoe, and just over 20 miles from Fort William & the mighty Ben Nevis. Known as the Outdoor Capital of the UK – Lochaber is great for all you outdoor enthusiasts! With climbing, hillwalking, kayaking, canyoning, white water rafting, mountain biking – just a few of the many activities on the doorstep. Or if its a relaxing break away you’re after, the village and the surrounding area boasts an abundance of beautiful walks with amazing scenery.
Our Glamping Pods provide a comfortable way to enjoy the great outdoors in all seasons while incorporating a few little luxuries such as electric lights & sockets for your hairdryers/chargers, free wifi, flat screen TV, microwave, fridge and kettle. All our pods offer secure, dry and warm all year round accommodation. In the cooler months the pods are all well insulated, double glazed and come equipped with electric heaters and for the summer months have the benefit of an electric fan and midge screens on the windows ensure those pesky insects are kept outside! There is plenty storage for rucksacks and bags under beds or in the waterproof storage boxes outside. And for those dry days there’s ample picnic benches outside the pods to dine al fresco and make use of the communal pot wash area.
We have 3 sizes of pods available: mini lodge, micro lodge or mega lodge. Sleeping 2-4 people. All pods come fitted with mattresses only – NO BEDDING, SHEETS OR PILLOWS provided. Bedding packs can be hired at reception for a charge of £5 per person and includes sleeping bag, pillow and sheet. No cutlery or crockery provided. Communal showers and toilets are also available, along with access to our large drying rooms.
Dogs are welcome however only one dog per lodge and there is a charge of £10 per dog.
