Comfortable glamping in post and frame timber huts at the gateway to the beautiful National Nature Reserve Glen Affric.
Our Eco Huts designed and constructed by ourselves using sustainable, locally sourced timber and are topped off with a turf roof. Douglas Fir has been used to create the sturdy frame, whilst Larch is used for the cladding. All the logs have been milled on-site using our own woodmizer sawmill.
The Huts are perfect for glamping containing:
- 2 single beds (+ sofa bed for an extra person)
- A fully equipped mini-kitchen with fridge
- hob, microwave + sink
- an ensuite shower/toilet
- Fold up table + chairs
- free wifi
- heating.
- Bed linen and towels are provided.
They are set in the land adjoining Westward ( our house and bed and breakfast) which is covered by wild meadow. Each hut has a deck on which to sit and relax after a busy day down the Glens. There is a designated area for BBQs or campfires.
